LAURA'S GLUTEN FREE KITCHEN'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By ordering from Laura's Gluten Free Kitchen you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and accept that these Conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website from time to time.
DEPOSITS
For all cake orders we require a deposit of 45% of your final order price which secures the booking and date. A date can only be reserved once the deposit is received. The remaining balance can be paid by Paypal, or Cash/Card on collection.
We are unable to deliver our cakes.
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances due to any loss of business arising from turning away other bookings on that date.
We will contact you the day before collection day with our address and collection time.
CHANGE OF BOOKING DATE
If for any reason you need to change the date of your booking, we will try to fit your new date in if possible.
CANCELLATIONS
In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible, and discuss the matter with you and try to agree a suitable alternative. If you do not wish to accept our suggested alternative, then we will refund the full price to you.
If you need to cancel your order, the deposit is non-refundable due to any loss of business arising from turning away other bookings on your date.
DAMAGES
Laura's Gluten Free Kitchen accepts no liability for cakes that are damaged after they leave our premises. The collection vehicle should have enough flat surface available, be clean and tidy. This is the client’s responsibility. The cake or products can be very fragile so it is advisable to drive very slowly and carefully. An empty boot, with non-slip matting is advisable.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Your order may have minor variations in colour, design from the website images, due to the nature of our work.
Our cakes may contain non- edible ingredients such as plastic dowels in tiered cakes, and wires and stamens in some sugar flowers. These must be removed before serving or eating.
DESIGN
Any image provided to us is given for illustrative purposes only. We do not do exact replicas and variations of colour and design.
Laura's Gluten Free Kitchen will do its best to match any colour requests for icing but we cannot guarantee an exact match as colours present differently in different materials. We aim for a perfect match but this is not always possible.
ALLERGIES
All our products are always gluten free but before making a payment, please discuss any other allergies or dietary requirements to us. We offer a selection of dietary options, and will endeavor to accommodate where possible. Our products are not suitable for those with nut allergies as we handle nuts in our premises.
STORAGE/DISPLAY
Goods must be stored in a cool dry area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Goods placed outside are liable to react to the temperature. In hot or humid weather there is the possibility of sugar decorations melting or damage to goods.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Laura's Gluten Free Kitchen is very active on social media platforms and regularly updates these platforms with our latest work, behind the scenes pictures, close up shots and pictures of your cake. All posts are done tastefully and positively. On ordering with Laura's Gluten Free Kitchen you agree that Laura's Gluten Free Kitchen can name you by first name on social media and blogging platforms. If you would rather us not post a picture of your cake, please let us know.
COMPLAINTS
If you wish to make a complaint to us or let us know any concerns after receiving your cake/s, please do so by email to laurasglutenfreekitchen@gmail.com. Evidence of any faults, damages or discrepancies should be included. Any refunds will be given entirely at our discretion.
